October 6, 2009: Changes and New Releases
Due to customer feedback myGrades will be updated soon with a percentage mode. Using precentage mode MyGrades will use maximum scores of 100, course scores out of 100, and will show the percentage score for categories instead of the weighted score. The One At A Time Initiative has been postponed until we have proper resources to devote to it. We are also close to the release of our first application for smartphones running Android, details to come soon.
August 4, 2009: The One At A Time Initiative Changes Focus
Apple has informed us that One At A Time will not be accepted into the iTunes App Store. Since we still fully believe in the goals of One At A Time, we will be starting a Google Checkout donation service and launching a One At A Time application for devices running Android. Read more here.
June 18, 2009: The One At A Time Initiative
Today Dramatic Technologies would like to officially announce the One At A Time Initiative, a new project based on the ideas of Social Entrepreneurship intended to cause true social change using the powerful resources of the business world. The first product of this Initiative is a simple application for the iPhone and iPod Touch, One At A Time. In short, for every application sold a real tree is planted in an area of ecological devastation. The application has been submitted to Apple for review and will be launching shortly. Read more here.
June 8, 2009: The iPhone 3G S, the 3.0 Software, and Dramatic Technologies.
myGrades, Silly Songz, and Stride have already been verified on the new iPhone OS 3.0, so there will be no update problems for current users of Dramatic Technologies' applications or buyers of the new iPhone 3G S. The new abilities of the 3.0 software will allow us to add some interesting new features to our existing catalog. All of our current software will stay iPhone and iPhone 3G compatible into the foreseeable future. We are also at a midpoint in the development of an exciting new application that is much more ambitious than what we have previously published. Details on our new project along with its accompanying initiative will be released soon.
May 14, 2009: myGrades Updated, more Silly Songz on the way, and an upcoming promotional.
The first update to myGrades has been released, so now you can see your maximum and current grades without having to tap edit. We also removed the main menu since it only had one option and did little more than waste a few seconds of usage. Users of the paid version of Silly Songz can now add images from their photo library as a background for the song. Expect another update soon with more music and a much better preview function which will show you the finished product right on your iPhone or iPod Touch. An upcoming update of the free version of Silly Songz will have details about a special promotion, so make sure to download Silly Songz Lite and be among the first to know about it!
UPDATE: The promotional will not be held due to incompatibilities with our iTunes App Store developer contracts.
May 1, 2009: myGrades and Silly Songz Updates.
A recent update to the Silly Songz server added a promotional image to all the songs when the recipient opens them. Soon another update will give owners of the paid version the ability to add pictures from your iPhone photo library to the songs. The first update to myGrades is nearly complete as well. It will display the current score next to each class, category, and grade for easy referencing as well as remove the menu screen, which served little purpose and added a few wasted seconds to the application.
April 6, 2009: New Release
Apple has just approved myGrades, so tonight it will be available on the iTunes App Store. We want to hear what you think of it, so please send feedback, suggestions, or criticisms our way either in an App Store review or straight to the source: support@dramatictechnologies.com.
myGrades is on the Way, and Silly Songz Update
We have submitted our newest app, myGrades, to Apple. Be looking for it on the iTunes App Store in about a week! Also, there is a new preview site at SillySongz.com where you can hear a sample of some of the great music. An update for Silly Songz which adds new songs has just been released as well.
Great Initial Reviews for Silly Songz
The first reviews for Silly Songz have been posted in the iTunes App Store. There are only four of them for the moment, but every one of them is a perfect five-stars! One reviewer writes that Silly Songz "got me some special attention from my lady". Glad we could help!
Silly Songz Released
The combined efforts of Spazzles, WOW Music, and Dramatic Technologies have yielded Silly Songz, a new way to send musical e-mails with a personal touch. You can read more about it from our site here, check out a sample of the great music selection at Spazzles.com, or go to the iTunes App Store, in the Music section.
Coming Soon
Very shortly Dramatic Technologies will be delivering an update to Stride with some nice new features and an entirely new app, myGrades. Our site has more information on myGrades. Be looking for these two in the iTunes App Store soon, Apple willing.
